The cottage was charming and very liveable. Guy and his family treated us beautifully and had even stocked the kitchen for us. Everything was comfortable, beds were great and a fire each evening was a lovely treat. Very accessible for both local trips and day trips to Kent and Sussex. We would recommend Vne Cottage very highly to anyone.

It is the most superb location and the owners were a delight! Everything you could possibly need is there in the house including a fabulous welcome pack that is way and above what we would have expected.

We had a wonderful stay in Vane Cottage. It was comfortable and the best equipped of all the holiday cottages we have stayed in over the years, and the welcome 'hamper' made it a home from home. We would love to go back in summer months and enjoy the location a bit more. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to get away and relax.

The property was all that we hoped for and more. The welcome and support was great and the welcome pack was second to none. Central enough to reach the major towns of the area but in the country with all the peace and tranquility that brings. Brilliant weeks hols.

I would recommend this place to all my friends, especially those who enjoy our wildlife and particularly the bird life. The welcome hamper is magnificent - thoughtful and of a very high standard - worth a visit just for that. A fabulous host, you never felt anything was too much trouble - we loved it.

Great cottage and facilities if you want a hassle free holiday with young children - toys, games etc in the cottage as well as highchair and stair gates and great gardens.

A very clean and comfortable cottage with delightful owners. I was given a very 'professional' tour of the gardens by their little girl! Excellent welcome pack, open fire and good location made this a very enjoyable weekend. We hope to return in the summer!

The accommodation is spacious and would suit a family, yet is not so large as to be uninviting for couples. The owner is very pleasant and on hand for local information.
